Koko Mega farm idea was established as a farm project management planning, and execution of agro allied matter, to shape the Agro market and develop a sustainable food production for Nigeria.
According to Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Between January and March 2021, the agriculture contributed to 22.35 percent of the total Gross Domestic Product. Over 70 percent of Nigerians engage in the agriculture sector mainly at a subsistence level.
Dr princess Lizzy Akhiwu, who is the convener of the Koko Mega farm organized a two days Agro exhibition/entrepreneur conference and a concurrent event Miss Agro port Harcourt (Face of Rivers youth in Agriculture).
The event started with the exhibition of various products of different entrepreneurs by Onimim Ernestina Jacks the Rivers State commissioner for Agriculture.
Afterwards, in the conference the entrepreneurs were lectured on how to fund their Agro business and need to register their businesses to enable them have access to government grants to help fund their businesses.
Meanwhile, Miss Daniella Ebisike is the winner the of Miss Agro port Harcourt. She is a student of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, she is studying animal science in the faculty of Agriculture.
She is an indigene of bayelsa state but based in Port Harcourt with her family.
Daniella started her modelling career in year 2019 with her first contest “Face of National transformation 2019” where she won first runner up, she advanced to a modeling school there she groomed herself and involved herself in several modeling activities and juggle juggled it with School.
Over the past years Daniella, in her words “I have learnt a lot from my choices on how to relate and understand people and myself. The challenges I have faced as a student and a model has made me better and stronger”.
“In December 2021, I got the opportunity to contest for Miss Agro 2021 which was proudly sponsored by Koko mega farm and other associates. It was not easy as I was informed during the deadline for the registration but made it by God’s grace and won the title “miss agro 2021”. I was welcomed with open arms and I promise to use my title honorably. I hope to have a good time with this brand and learning a lot from them”.
Miss Daniella Ebisike won a Cash prize of N150,000 and a laptop hamper.
