Leading medical Facility, Princess medical joins the Afyacare Ltd. 

After over a year of negotiations with R – Jolad Hospital group owned by Afyacare Ltd, the very prestigious and iconic Princess Medical Center , 1 (Signature) and 2 (Classic), joins the R – Jolad Hospital Group.

The Princess Medical Center was founded in 1988 . It is a 60 bed Facility offering a broad range of special Services including, Surgery , obstetrics and gynecology, Paevianmics , internal medicine , orthopedic, assisted reproduction and emergency care .

Speaking at the event , the founder and Chairman of Princess Medical Center , Chief Dr. Emi Membere Otaji , MD , NPOM , OON, said the integration would unlock new opportunities, innovation and service delivery. He also said joining the R- Jolad Hospital Group allows us to strengthen our Systems , embrace technology and expand our capacity while preserving the personalized came our patients value “

He further said Today after over a year of Negotiations with R- Jolad hospital Ltd Group owned by Afyacare Ltd , The Africa focused integrated Healthcare through Merger and acquisition we held the closing ceremony at the conference room of the Princes medical center Admin( wing).it’s very Emotional for me today an my 38 year old hospital is being acquired.This is my Exit Strategy for this lousiness.

On his part the founder and Managing Director of R.Jolad Hospital, Dr Funsho Oladipo, described the acquisition as a strategic more do strengthen healthcare delivery beyond Lagos .

Founded in Lagos over four decades ago , R-Jolad Hospital brings to the partnership it’s Scalable Healthcare Systems , clinical governance frameworks and operational expertise which will be integrated with princess Medical Center strong community presence and established reputation for patient- centered care .

The integration process will commence immediately with both institutions aligning clinical, operational and digital systems to ensure continuity of care for patients and a smooth transition for Staff.

Industry observers note that the transition reflects growing conference in private Sector led investment as a pathway to addressing infrastructure gaps , workforce challenges and Quality standards within Nigeria,s healthcare System.
