At the Commonwealth Trade and Investment Summit (CTIS) 2025, I had the honour of leading a Governor’s Roundtable centered on unlocking investment opportunities in Lagos State.
The roundtable provided a strategic platform to present Lagos’s story—our progress, our potential, and our unwavering commitment to creating a prosperous and inclusive economy—to the international business community.
Lagos stands tall today as Africa’s largest city, a hub of innovation, finance, and creative energy. We have made deliberate efforts to strengthen our regulatory environment, improve infrastructure, and build investor confidence across key sectors—technology, real estate, transportation, energy, and manufacturing.
Our resilient, ambitious private sector continues to power Lagos’s evolution. But for sustained growth, we must keep nurturing the right conditions: access to capital, reliable infrastructure, clear regulations, and responsive governance. As a government, our role is clear—to listen, enable, and support.
