NACCIMA President and Executive Members Grace ECOWAS Agricultural Trade (EAT) Capacity Building Session
On 8th April 2026, the National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) led members of the National Executive Committee and Council to attend the ongoing Capacity Building on Business Management Skills under the ECOWAS Agricultural Trade (EAT) Project, hosted by NACCIMA in collaboration with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
The engagement, which took place on the sidelines of the First Quarter Executive Committee and Council Meeting held in Kano, served as a strong source of encouragement to participants and reaffirmed NACCIMA’s commitment to strengthening business capacity within the agricultural value chain.
During the engagement, participants highlighted key challenges affecting their businesses, including market linkages and regulatory constraints. The NACCIMA President and Executive members actively listened to these concerns and provided practical insights. They also assured participants that the issues raised would inform NACCIMA’s advocacy efforts and strategic interventions-particularly with National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC)-aimed at improving the business environment.
The visit further underscored NACCIMA’s dedication to empowering entrepreneurs, promoting intra-regional trade, and enhancing the competitiveness of businesses across the ECOWAS region.
