NDDC Chairman, Chiedu Ebie, Inspects Preparations for 2nd Niger Delta Games

The Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Mr. Chiedu Ebie, Esq., has reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to youth development, talent discovery, and sports excellence in the Niger Delta.

Speaking earlier on Thursday in Benin City, Edo State, Ebie said he made a brief stop at the strategy session of the Technical Committee for the second edition of the Niger Delta Games, Edo 2026.

He noted that now in its second year, the Niger Delta Games is positioned to deliver a world-class sporting event that reflects the NDDC’s dedication to empowering youths and promoting excellence across the region.

Ebie invited stakeholders and the general public to be part of the event, scheduled to hold in Benin City from February 20 to 27, 2026.

The 2nd Edition of the Niger Delta Sports Festival is anchored by Dunamis Icon Limited and powered by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
