NDDC MD/CEO Samuel Ogbuku Wins Public Servant of the Year Award
The Daily Telegraph Magazine has honoured Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, MD/CEO of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), with the Public Servant of the Year Award.
The award recognizes the Commission’s achievements in accountability, infrastructural projects such as Light Up the Niger Delta, and youth development across the Niger Delta region.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Ogbuku said the Commission’s work is fueled by the vision of Mr. President and his commitment to the Niger Delta. He emphasized that support from the President and the National Assembly motivates the NDDC to work tirelessly.
He further stated that the award is not only for the staff and management of the NDDC but also for the stakeholders who have supported the Commission’s efforts. According to him, the recognition also serves as a challenge to do more for the people of the Niger Delta.
