Nigeria Customs Service commissioned the eighteen (18) creek boats locally manufactured by SEWA Ltd.
The event kicked off with an introduction by the Nigeria Customs and a welcome speech by the Chairman board of directors in SEWA, Engr. Murtala Mohammed. This was followed by a presentation of the boats and their functionality by Engr. Ian Appleby, Managing Director, SEWA.
The creek patrol boats were then commissioned by the Comptroller General Customs (CGC), Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali, this led to the inspection of the boats through display.
