A Nigerian Man identified as Mr Christan Rotimi Barika, who hails from Rivers State has shared his convocation photos after finishing his Master’s degree in Rural Development in the University of Debrecen Hungary, with a 4.90 CGPA.
Mr. Christian Barika who attended the University of Port Harcourt before proceeding for his Masters Degree abroad also received an Award of Excellence in Research given his well scripted dissertation and other publications while undergoing his Masters Degree programme.
In a post he shared on facebook with hash tags #convocation #unideb #hungary #education #elitewaka, he said, “…It almost slipped out of my hands. So I took up this journey at the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 not knowing exactly what to expect. Arrived very late in a new country with an entirely different system of education for the first time.
“Quarantined for a week not knowing how to start thereafter. Strived to adapt to both the new environment and the new situation necessitated by the pandemic, in pursuit of a longtime dream.
“It’s a long story ladies and gentlemen, but I’m here today full of thanks and gratitude to everyone who supported me in any way on this journey.
“I am done but not dusted!
I’m happy and proud to say of all the struggles and bumpy start I came out OUTSTANDING with a distinctive grade, also Got an award, so you can call it double honour😂🥰.
“I dedicate this win to the most High God, my darling wife, my dear daughter, Dr. Dandison Ukpabi and his family, my entire family, my very kind and supportive lecturers and colleagues.
There’s more to say, but for today, I’m saying Thank you🙏,” he said.
