Port Harcourt Hosts Funderland 2025: Biggest Family Fun Festival Lights Up Polo Club

Port Harcourt came alive on September 5th, 2025, as the Polo Club GRA hosted Funderland 2025—the biggest family fun festival in the city. The all-day event, themed “Where Fun Meets Wonder,” brought together families, friends, and fun lovers for a day filled with games, laughter, music, food, and unforgettable memories.

Among the distinguished guests in attendance was Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs, who described the experience as magical. In his words: “We just experienced Funderland 2025 – where fun truly meets wonder! It was a day of games, laughter, family, friendship, and unforgettable memories.”

He commended the organizers, renowned AOP and MC Oby-Ivy Nia Fakae and her husband, Niabari Fakae, for their innovation and commitment, adding: “Kudos to my SA Media and protégé, Nia’Bari Fakae, and his powerhouse wife, Oby-Ivy, for birthing such a beautiful expression of creativity, social value, and excellence. Port Harcourt indeed felt the magic.”

Through the support of Platform Petroleum Limited, the festival also featured impactful community-driven activities, including the Platform Petroleum Brainiac Challenge, which rewarded winners with back-to-school packs and prizes.

Chief Lulu-Briggs further emphasized the significance of events like Funderland, stating: “Beyond the fun, they contribute immensely to culture, community, and the grace of Rivers State.”

With exciting activities and memorable highlights, Funderland 2025 once again proved to be a cultural and social hub, reinforcing Port Harcourt as a city of innovation and community spirit.
