RIVERS STATE CANNOT BE HELD HOSTAGE BY ONE MAN!

The people of Rivers State have spoken—they want peace, progress, and good governance! However, one man, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike, seems determined to sow chaos and division for his own selfish gains. His relentless interference in the affairs of the state, even after leaving office, proves that he sees Rivers as his personal empire. But Rivers State belongs to its people—not to a power-hungry politician!

Despite his desperate efforts to undermine the sitting governor, Providence has repeatedly frustrated his plans—because truth, justice, and the will of the people will always prevail. The Ijaw Nation Development Group (INDG) and well-meaning leaders of the South-South will not allow one man’s insatiable thirst for control to plunge Rivers into turmoil. We demand peace, and we will not be silenced! No politician, no matter how influential, is bigger than Rivers State. It is time for Wike to step back and allow Governor Siminalayi Fubara to govern without distractions.

WIKE’S POLITICAL TYRANNY MUST END NOW!

For how long will Rivers State suffer under the grip of political tyranny? Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike, despite leaving office, continues to pull the strings, desperately trying to impose his will by force. But Rivers people have had enough! This state is not his playground!

PANDEF, INDG, and other South-South leadership groups have worked tirelessly to maintain peace, yet Wike continues to sabotage these efforts. His recent reckless media outbursts against respected Niger Delta elders and institutions prove that he has lost all sense of restraint. A man who insults his own people, disrespects traditional rulers, and defies even Mr. President is clearly drunk on power!

But let it be known—Rivers State is greater than one man’s ego! The time has come for all lovers of peace to resist Wike’s dictatorship and say NO to political slavery. The people demand peace, and no amount of manipulation, threats, or propaganda will stop the march toward justice, progress, and stability.

Enough is enough. The people of Rivers State, the Ijaw Nation, and the entire South-South will not stand idly by while the state is plunged into crisis for the selfish interests of one man. We call on Mr. President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to take decisive action and ensure that Rivers State is not sacrificed on the altar of political greed.

The Ijaw Nation Development Group (INDG) and the Ijaw People Assembly (IPA) remain committed to peace, stability, and good governance. We will not relent in ensuring that the democratic will of the people is respected and that Rivers State continues to thrive.
