Road to Grand Prize Gets Tougher as Denari, Tracy Exit BBnaija Season 10, Koyin Emerges Interim HOH
The Big Brother Naija Season 10 journey grew tougher on Sunday night as the house lost two more contenders, Arinze “Denari” Ekwenme and Uchenna “Tracy” Ekwe, after seven weeks of drama, tasks, and heated moments.
Following the Head of House games, Koyin clinched victory to become the Interim HoH. His choice for a condo partner was Jason Jae, who accepted without hesitation.
After his eviction, Denari reflected on his time in the house, admitting that the experience was “not easy” but describing his seven-week survival as a “personal achievement.” The 27-year-old, who marked his birthday during the show, was known for his bond with Doris (evicted last week), his acting skills, singing talent, and standout performances during weekly tasks.
Tracy, on her part, described her stay as “amazing,” noting that she enjoyed every moment despite the highs and lows. She revealed her closest bond was with Zita, whom she described as “a safe space.” Earlier in the season, Tracy etched her name in the competition’s history by winning Head of House in Week Three.
Voting results, independently verified by Deloitte for M-Net, showed Tracy with 2.23%, Denari with 1.42%, while Bright Morgan narrowly escaped eviction with 2.78%. Their exit reduces the housemates from the opening 29 to 17 still in contention for the ₦150 million grand prize.
During the live show, host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu confirmed Faith Adewale as safe and announced her as the ‘Most Influential Player of the Week’ for the second time. Ebuka also stirred up drama, calling out Thelma for “dividing the house” as HoH and criticising the unimpressive wager task. Thelma, however, fired back, stating she wasn’t in the house “to unite anyone or make friends.”
This week’s eviction followed a string of earlier exits. Danboskid, Ibifubara, and Sabrina voluntarily left due to personal reasons, while Otega, Kayikunmi, Victory, and Gigi Jasmine were also evicted. Last week saw a dramatic triple eviction with Big Soso, Ivatar, and Doris leaving. In a surprising twist, Dede, Joanna, and Rooboy rejoined the house after a fake eviction, adding more spice to the season.
With Denari and Tracy gone and Koyin stepping up as Interim HoH, the stakes have risen, and competition for the coveted ₦150 million grand prize has become even more intense.
