Senator Maeba to Deliver Lecture on 15 Years of Nigerian Content Act at NCDMB Academy
The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has announced that Senator Lee Ledogo Maeba, FNSE, former Senator representing Rivers South-East District (2003–2011), will serve as Guest Lecturer at the 10th edition of the Nigerian Content Academy Lecture Series.
Senator Maeba, widely regarded as the architect of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act (2010), will deliver a lecture assessing 15 Years of the Nigerian Content Act and Its Impact on the Nation’s Economy. His presentation will explore the Act’s achievements, challenges, and strategic direction for the future.
The lecture, themed “Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act, 2010 — 15 Years On: Achievements and Way Forward,” aims to deepen national dialogue on local content development and strengthen policy implementation in the oil and gas sector.
The event will take place on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. prompt, at the Nigerian Content Academy, Yenagoa.
