Earlier this morning , the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State His Excellency , Sen. Douye Diri, after presiding over the 38th Security Council Meeting at Governemnt House Yenagoa .
Reiterated his administration’s commitment to securing lives and properties in the State . To further strengthen the Security apparatus in the State , also donated 31 new patrol vans to boost their operations .
This is geared to add up with other operational vehicles that had been handed over to both the conventional and non-conventional security structures of the State , and it is greeted with commendations from Bayelsans across boards .
It is also a confirmation to the Governor’s concern, commitment and readiness to tackle security challenges at all times and to provide a peaceful environment for her citizens as top priority of the Government .
While receiving the vehicles on behalf of other sister security commands , CP Francis Idu, the Commissioner of Police Bayelsa State , and Brig. Eric Angaye, the Coordinator of the Bayelsa State Community Safety Corps, all appreciated the gesture from the State Government , noting that this will further boost their mobility in operations .
