Tinubu Meets Regional Development Ministers, NDDC and Other Agencies’ Leadership at Presidential Villa

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday met with the Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, the Minister of State, Uba Maigari Ahmadu, as well as the Chairman and Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Mr. Chiedu Ebie and Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Also in attendance were heads of six other Regional Development Agencies. The meeting was convened to formally introduce the leadership teams and provide updates on the status of their respective agencies, including newly inaugurated boards, ongoing challenges, and recent achievements — particularly those recorded by the NDDC and the North East Development Commission (NEDC).

President Tinubu commended NDDC Managing Director, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, for what he described as effective leadership and the Commission’s visible developmental impact across the Niger Delta region.

The President reiterated the importance of regional development commissions in strengthening national growth, promoting inclusive development, and improving the welfare of communities across the country.
