Tinubu Orders Security Agencies to Hunt Down Kasuwan Daji Attackers
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered the military, police and the Department of State Services (DSS) to track down and arrest terrorists behind the attack on Kasuwan Daji community in Niger State.
He directed the Minister of Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff, the Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police and the DSS to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice and all abducted victims rescued urgently.
The President condemned the killings and abduction of women and children, describing the attack as a grave test of the nation’s resolve.
He extended condolences to the families of the victims and the government and people of Niger State.
President Tinubu assured residents that security operations would be intensified around vulnerable communities, especially forest areas used by criminal elements, and urged Nigerians to remain united and avoid divisive rhetoric.
The statement was issued on Sunday and signed by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
