DELGA CHAIRMAN INVESTS IN EDUCATION: FREE BIOMETRICS EXERCISE IN FULL SWING

Degema Local Government Area (DELGA) continues its commitment to investing in the future of its youth with the fourth day of its free JAMB form biometrics exercise.

The initiative, which will provide 450 free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to eligible indigenes, is being conducted at the Rivers State University ICT Centre, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, and Ashgrove Academy, University of Port Harcourt.

Despite initial technical challenges, the exercise has seen a significant turnout, with students enthusiastically embracing the opportunity.

Hon. Norman Oyibo-emi Iboroma, Supervisor for Education, expressed satisfaction with the progress, noting that the biometrics capture is expected to be completed by the middle of next week.

Mr. Adokiye Erekosima (Chief of Protocol), Mr. Urang Njenyisi Atajit (Director of Education), Mr. Boma Jumbo (Coordinator), and the Councillor from Ward 13 were among some officials present at the centers to assist students with the registration process.

DELGA residents who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
