The family of Late Chief Lazarus Torunge Koko of Josiah Koko House, Amadi Ama, PHALGA, Rivers State, gathered on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025, to pay tribute to their beloved matriarch, Late High Chief Amoni Family Koko JP, also affectionately known as “Sistá.”
The night of tribute, held at her family home, 6 Beach Lane, Amadi Ama, was a poignant celebration of her life and legacy. Family and friends came together to share fond memories and honor her impact on their lives.
Late High Chief Amoni Family Koko is survived by her children, including renowned Nigerian filmmaker and art director, Yibo Koko, who currently serves as the Director-General of the Rivers State Tourism Development Agency.
Her funeral service will be held today, March 14th, 2025, in her hometown of Amadi Ama, Port Harcourt. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community.
