Adokiye Tombomieye was a former Executive Vice President, Upstream, of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), has had an illustrious career in the oil and gas sector, playing a key role in Nigeria’s energy development. Beyond his professional achievements, he has remained a passionate advocate for youth advancement and community progress.
Also honored on the night was Hon. Tonye Oniyide Briggs, the Chairman of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area (LGA), as the female trailblazer icon of old Port Harcourt township
Another distinguished awardee was Opuda Dumo Lulu-Briggs, the Paramount Head of the Oruwari House of Abonnema, recognized as the humanitarian icon of old Port Harcourt township.
