The University of Jos Alumni Association is holding its 2017 UniJos Alumni Reunion and Dinner, the biggest gathering of graduates of UniJos, on Thursday the 28th of September.
The aim of the reunion is to bring together these Josites in order to discuss the issues that will help attract the needed infrastructure to the University.
Alumni members who have done exceedingly well in their areas of calling will be honoured with the award giving, the general idea is to celebrate all Josites who got Administrative and Executive positions both in the private and public sectors. Guest appearances of both comedians and dignitaries is not lacking in this year’s reunion. We Have the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogaro, four Governors, three Ministers, 20 other Legislators from the National Assembly, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation and others.
The ‘highpoint’ of the event is the unveiling of a 3D presentation of the UniJos centre project, a multi-purpose centre to be built on the permanent site of the University, a 300 seat auditorium, an Honours arcade, meeting rooms, shops, an internet bar, reception lounges and offices.
The event promises to be fun, full of banters and memories, camaraderie and a lot of enlightenment.
